what’s the wackiest but most useful advice you’ve ever received?

i’m sure i’ve received tons of weird advice, i know especially from my grandma. i could go on and on about her crazy theories and weird recommendations. as for right now i think the most recent wack advice i’ve gotten was from travis when we told me i needed to play world of warcraft to have something fun, new, and amusing to do while he was at work. i despised that stupid game since i’ve met him. i hated hearing about horde, alliance, toons, dings, quests, loot, gold, blah blah blah! but one night a while back i sat down and had a few beers with travis and he finally convinced me to play. it was hilarious and surprisingly really fun. i love playing it now and i’m totally not ashamed to say it. i’m a wow girl :D yay!

a simple thing to do is find something new that interests you and talk about it.

and a week of vacation from work (:

my phone tells me i have like five new text messages and once i slide the bar across the screen and go to my messages there’s nothing there. what a teaseeee. and my internet connection keeps dropping, frustrating!!!

sadly it seems that working twelve hours every friday is becoming slightly easier the more times that i do it. i used to get home and be completely beat but now i have so much more energy. i haven’t wrote anything about what’s been happening in my life lately but i guess that’s mainly due to the amount of time i’ve been working which amounts to like 85% of my life.

i have to admit something super embarassing, travis has finally gotten me to try playing world of warcraft and i actually think it’s a lot of fun (: we have been staying up together at night playing and it’s been amazing.

tonight i plan on just hanging out watching taken and cuddling with travis. i cannot believe how amazing this love still is and always will be <3

i was thinking about something today, just a little food for thought. have you ever noticed how many fashion shots show cigarette smoking as glamorous, or very admired celebrities just hanging out with a cigarette? (mary-kate olsen, robert pattinson, marilyn monroe, audrey hepburn). smoking is so often portrayed as glamorous, when it in fact is so harmful.
